In Adams 12 Five Star Schools, students collaborate, think critically, problem-solve and are digitally literate to thrive in today’s ever-changing world. At Riverdale, evidence of this includes:

• Every student in kindergarten-5th grade engages in part of their learning using various apps and tools on a school-assigned laptop.
• There are interactive whiteboards in every classroom along with microphone systems for teachers and scholars and document cameras to facilitate engaging instruction and active participation.
• Starting in 2026-2027, students in grades K-2 are not issued their own Chromebooks and technology usage is limited to 15 minutes a day, and students in grades 3-5 are issued a device, but they do not take them home, and their tech usage is limited to 45 minutes a day.
