Backyard Explorers club cultivates fairy gardens in the courtyard
Our Backyard Explorers after-school club has been working hard to bring our school courtyard to life!
They have been working with club sponsors and kindergarten teachers Erin Trickey and Stephanie Bahl to create potted fairy gardens with flowers, greenery, and little trinkets that are sure to catch your eye. They also have been clearing out weeds and moving rock around to make room for new growth from plants and flowers, as well as planting seeds in and around the rocks. Nature is so beautiful, so bringing it to the center of our school has been a fun experience for scholars!
