Drama Club
At Riverdale Elementary, drama club is an after school program where students prepare and rehearse a musical through singing, dancing, and acting. Due to time constraints, we will only be performing a select number of scenes and songs instead of the entirety of the musical. This year, we are telling the story of...
Rehearsals will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays - two weeks on, two weeks off according to Ms. Hoffert's schedule. The calendar can be found here. Rehearsal dates are as follows: 1/27, 1/29, 2/18, 2/19, 2/24, 2/26, 3/17, 3/19, 3/31, 4/2, 4/21, & 4/23
Auditions will be held at the first rehearsal, determining which students receive which parts. Please come to rehearsal with some knowledge of the following songs and sides, depending on which character your scholar is interested in. Practice tracks are available below:
- "Part of Your World" - Ariel
- "Poor Unfortunate Souls" - Ursula
- "Under the Sea" - Sebastian
SIDES FOR ALL CHARACTERS - These are the lines we will be using to gauge acting skills. Practice them at home for the character(s) you are interested in!
